Emerson Network Power, Brand Division of Emerson Co., is a USA multinational company with head office in St. Louis (Missouri). It is leader in a number of sectors: conditioning of technological environments and cooling units (Liebert HIROSS brand name), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) (Liebert), power systems (Emerson Energy Systems) and emergency and stand-by power transfer solutions and critical installations (Asco). Emerson Network Power has a worldwide presence, particularly in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Its team is made up of 3,000 employees, widespread in the whole area.
The company production activities, with regard to UPS solutions for Europe, are gathered in two plants. One is in Piove in Sacco, near Padua, the other one is in Nove Mesto, in Slovakia. For Micro and Small UPS units (from 350 VA to 30 kVA) the office activities are located in the branch of San Giuliano Milanese. Distribution, totally outsource-managed, takes place in Tiel, Holland. The 50% of supplies come from the Far East, both from other production firms in the group, and from outside suppliers.
